YAMM alternatives, compared honestly

YAMM is simple and well priced, and it suits anyone who lives in Google Sheets. If you don’t, or need something it can’t do, here are the other ways to run a mail merge from Gmail. Fusomail is ours, and it is listed first because this is our website; each entry says what it can’t do.

Checked on 4 November 2026. Every fact about each product links to where it says so.

Reasons to look beyond YAMM

  • It works from a Google Sheet, so an Excel or CSV list has to be imported first. Source
  • Pro is billed once a year; there is no monthly option on its pricing page. Source
  • Its free plan is 20 recipients a day, so a list of 200 takes 10 days. Source

Reasons to stay with YAMM

  • You send a different Google Drive file to each person, on any plan. Source
  • You want its low yearly price: for @gmail.com, 36 USD or 36 EUR a year outside the US, the UK and the other listed countries. Source

Questions about YAMM alternatives

What can I use instead of YAMM without Google Sheets?

Fusomail reads a .csv or .xlsx file directly, with no Google Sheets step. Mailmeteor’s dashboard takes a CSV file too. GMass, Mail Merge for Gmail and YAMM itself work from a Google Sheet, according to their own guides.

Which YAMM alternative attaches a different file for each person?

Mail Merge for Gmail from Digital Inspiration says it can. Fusomail can’t today: a campaign’s files go to everyone in it, and a per-person file is sent as a link in a merge field.
