Inbox rotation: one campaign, sent from several Gmail accounts
What it does
One campaign, several accounts
Pick the accounts in the campaign’s Sender step: up to 3 accounts on Premium and 10 on Pro. The first one you pick is also the account test emails go from.
Split evenly
The list is dealt out in turn, so every account gets about the same number of people and they all start at once. The review shows each account’s share before you launch.
Each account within its own limit
Every account keeps its own daily limit (up to 400 for personal Gmail and 1,500 for Google Workspace) and its own gap between emails. Three accounts finish a list up to three times sooner; none of them sends faster than it would alone.
Follow-ups stay in their thread
A person’s follow-ups always go from the account that sent their first email, as replies in that Gmail conversation. A conversation never moves to another account.
When one account drops out
If an account has to be reconnected, the emails it hasn’t tried yet move to the others. Its follow-ups wait for it, so nothing is skipped; the campaign pauses only when none of its accounts can send.
Every account’s part
The campaign’s page shows what each account has sent, what failed and what waits, the recipients list shows which account each person’s email came from, and reports count each email for its own account.
How it works
- 1
Connect two or more Gmail or Google Workspace accounts on the Senders page.
- 2
In a campaign’s Sender step, choose the accounts to share the list between.
- 3
Check the review: each account’s share, what it may still send today and when its last email should go.
- 4
Launch, and follow each account’s numbers on the campaign’s page.
Questions about inbox rotation
Does inbox rotation get round Gmail’s sending limits?
No. Each account stays within its own daily limit, set below the one Google gives it, and keeps its own pace. Your plan’s monthly emails count every email, from every account. Use accounts that belong to you or your team, for people who expect to hear from you.
Which account do replies go to?
To the account that sent that person’s email. Their follow-ups go from the same account, in the same Gmail thread, so the whole conversation stays in one inbox.
What happens if one account is disconnected mid-campaign?
The emails it hasn’t tried yet move to the campaign’s other accounts. Follow-ups, and anything it already tried, wait for it to be connected again rather than switching accounts. The campaign pauses only when none of its accounts can send, and says which one to reconnect.
Which plans include inbox rotation?
Premium and up (Premium and Pro): up to 3 accounts on Premium and 10 on Pro. Premium isn’t on sale yet; it opens soon. On the plans below, a campaign sends from one account and the option shows a note with a link to Plan & billing. A workspace that moves to a smaller plan keeps the accounts of campaigns it already launched.
