Privacy policy

Last updated 3 November 2026

This policy explains what personal data Fusomail collects, why, how long we keep it, who we share it with and the choices you have. It covers the website at fusomail.com and the Fusomail app.

Who we are

Fusomail is a product of Ashutosh Dubey, proprietor of AD Enterprises, Plot No. G 282, Madhav Greens, Satrikh Road, Khasra No. 184, Chinhat, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh 226028, India (“Fusomail”, “we”, “us”). Questions about this policy: hello@fusomail.com.

Two kinds of data

  • Account data. When you create a workspace, we are responsible for your account details and the details of the people you add to your workspace.
  • Contact data. You import the people you want to email: their addresses and whatever columns your list has. We keep and process this only on your behalf, to send the campaigns you create. You decide what goes in and why, and you are responsible for having a lawful reason to email each person.

What we collect

  • Account details: your name, email address, workspace name, country and the details of each person with a login. Passwords are stored only as a secure hash.
  • Connected Gmail accounts: the email address and name of each Google account you connect, and the access token Google gives us to send email on your behalf. Tokens are stored encrypted.
  • Contacts and campaigns: the lists you import, the templates and emails you write, and a record of each email sent: to whom, when, and whether it was delivered to Gmail or failed.
  • Click counting, when you switch it on: when a link in an email was clicked and which link it was. No IP address or browser details are kept, and emails carry no open-tracking image.
  • Unsubscribes: the addresses that have opted out of your emails, so they are never emailed again from your workspace.
  • Payments: the plan, amount, date and payment reference of what you pay us. Card, UPI and bank details are entered with our payment partner, Razorpay, and never reach us.
  • Website forms: the name, mobile number, email and message you send us from the contact or call-back forms.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser or device details and the time of sign-ins and important actions, kept for security and to keep a record of changes.

How Fusomail uses Google user data

Fusomail lets you send email campaigns from your own Gmail or Google Workspace account. When you connect an account, you sign in with Google and Google asks you to allow these permissions:

  • Your name, email address and profile picture (openid, email and profile): to show which account is connected and to send from the right address.
  • Send email on your behalf (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send): to send the emails you create in Fusomail, to the people you choose, when you start a campaign or a test.

That is all Fusomail asks for. Fusomail cannot read, search, change or delete any email in your mailbox, and it does not see your other Google data, such as Drive, Calendar or Contacts. Replies to your emails arrive in your Gmail as usual; Fusomail does not see them.

We use Google user data only to provide the sending feature you can see and use in Fusomail. We do not sell it, we do not use it or transfer it for advertising, and we do not use it to train artificial intelligence or machine-learning models. No person at Fusomail reads the emails you send unless you ask us to for support, it is needed for security (for example to investigate abuse), or the law requires it.

Fusomail’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You can disconnect a Google account at any time in Fusomail, or remove Fusomail’s access on your Google Account’s third-party connections page. When you do, sending from that account stops at once and we delete its access token.

If you received an email sent with Fusomail

The email was written and sent by a Fusomail customer, from their own address; they decide who to email and why. Use the unsubscribe link in the email and you will not get further campaign emails from that sender through Fusomail. To ask how the sender got your address, write to them. If you think an email breaks our terms, for example because it is spam or phishing, tell us at hello@fusomail.com and we will look into it.

Cookies

  • Necessary cookies keep you signed in, keep your session secure and remember your cookie choice. The site cannot work without them.
  • The visitor cookie, only if you choose “Accept all”: a random number that lets us count you once when you come back, and see which link first brought you to our website. It is kept for 12 months and removed if you choose “Only necessary”.
  • Google Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_…), only if you choose “Accept all” and only on our public website, never in the Fusomail app: Google Analytics tells us how many people visit, which pages they read and which sites and searches brought them. They last up to 2 years and are removed if you choose “Only necessary”.

We do not use advertising cookies, and we have not turned on Google’s advertising features or shared Analytics data with Google for ads. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page of our website.

Our website’s visitor log

For each page seen on fusomail.com we keep which page it was, the site or link that led there, whether it was a phone or a computer, the browser and its language, and the visitor number only if you accepted the visitor cookie. We do not keep your IP address with it. We use this only to see how people find and use our website, and delete it after 13 months.

How we use data

  • To provide Fusomail: importing contacts, sending your campaigns, tracking, unsubscribes and sign-in.
  • To keep accounts secure, prevent spam and other misuse, and keep a record of changes.
  • To reply to messages and support you.
  • To bill you for your plan and meet our tax and legal duties.
  • To send you emails about your account, such as password resets, receipts and important changes to the service.

We do not sell personal data, use it for advertising, or email the contacts you import for our own purposes.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers we need to run Fusomail, and only what they need:

  • Hosting and backup providers that store the service and its encrypted backups.
  • Google, which delivers the emails you send through your own Gmail account.
  • Google Analytics, only for visitors of our public website who chose “Accept all”: pages seen, how they arrived, and the browser and device type, under a random identifier.
  • Razorpay, our payment partner, which takes payments for plans.
  • An email provider for the emails we send you about your account.

We may also share data when the law requires it, or to protect our users and the service. Data may be processed in India and in the countries where these providers operate.

How long we keep it

  • Account details, contacts and campaigns: while your workspace is open. When you close it, we delete them within 30 days, and from backups as they are replaced.
  • Google access tokens: until you disconnect the account or close your workspace.
  • Unsubscribe and suppression lists: while your workspace is open, so opt-outs keep being honoured.
  • Invoices and payment records: as long as tax law requires, even after a workspace closes.
  • Website messages: as long as needed to reply and follow up, and no longer than 24 months.
  • The website’s visitor log: 13 months.
  • Google Analytics data about website visits: up to 14 months, kept by Google.

How we protect it

Each workspace’s data is kept apart by the database itself, connections use HTTPS, passwords are hashed, Google access tokens are encrypted, and the database is backed up and encrypted every night. Read more on the security page.

Your choices and rights

You can see, correct, download or delete your personal data, or withdraw a consent you gave, by writing to hello@fusomail.com. Depending on where you live, laws such as India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, the GDPR in Europe and the UK GDPR give you further rights, including to object and to complain to your data protection authority. If you are on a Fusomail customer’s list, please contact that customer first: they decide what is kept about you, and we will help them respond.

Grievances

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, write to our grievance contact, Ashutosh Dubey, proprietor of AD Enterprises, at hello@fusomail.com. We will acknowledge your message and reply as soon as we can.

Children

Fusomail is a tool for work and is not meant for anyone under 18.

Changes

We will update this page when our practices change, and tell you by email about important changes before they take effect.
